One Unforgettable Day.
A private guiding, a five-course Chef's Table dinner, and stories from two Sami traditions — for up to 10 guests.
Your Day
From first meeting to final goodbye — an intimate Arctic experience, crafted for you.
Welcome & Meet-Up
We meet you at an agreed location in Tromsø. The evening begins with a warm welcome and introductions before we set the tone for what’s to come.

Guided Arctic Experience
Together, we guide you through the surrounding Arctic landscape. This part of the day is shaped by conditions, atmosphere, and storytelling — calm, present, and unhurried.

The Chef's Table
Jon Mikkel — a trained chef from a reindeer herding family — prepares an exclusive five-course Sami gourmet dinner. We can cook at your accommodation, or arrange a suitable venue for the meal. Each course tells a story — suovas, bidos, gáhkku, Arctic herbs, and wild berries — made from scratch, right in front of you.

Stories & Closing the Evening
Around the dinner, stories are shared from two Sami traditions — sea Sami and reindeer herding Sami. Two worlds, one people. The evening winds down naturally, leaving you with warmth, flavors, and stories to carry with you into the Arctic night.

Meet Your Guides
Two Sami traditions. Two personal stories. One unforgettable evening.

Odd Levi
Sea Sami (Lule Sami)
Born and raised in the sea Sami tradition of coastal Northern Norway. Odd Levi carries the stories, songs, and knowledge of a culture that has lived by the Arctic sea for thousands of years. As one of approximately 2,000 Lule Sami people, he is a living connection to a tradition few outsiders ever encounter.
“The sea has always been our home. I want to share what that means.”

Jon Mikkel
Reindeer Herding Sami (Northern Sami)
From a reindeer herding family in the Troms region, Jon Mikkel grew up following the seasonal migrations. As a trained chef, he brings traditional Sami ingredients to gourmet level — cooking at your location or a venue we arrange, creating a five-course experience that tells the story of his people through food.
“Every dish I serve carries a piece of our tradition. Food is how I share my culture.”

“Our guide was so friendly and committed with the stories and videos about Sami culture. He also explained the relationship between Sami and Northern Lights. It was very much joy to hear Sami's Joik. He set a bonfire and served hot dogs and marshmallows. The dancing started and we could see more dances between the fjords and the view was really amazing. We stayed there for at least two hours with beautiful northern lights.”
